Level Design
The level design process for Regimental Combat was primarily driven by efficiency without compromising quality. The majority of the design was achieved by leveraging automation techniques and modular tools, allowing for rapid iteration and consistent visual fidelity. This approach significantly reduced development time while maintaining a high standard of realism and technical accuracy.
A key component of the development was the use of the Regimental Combat MOUT Site Kit, which provided a flexible and highly modular foundation for creating diverse military training environments. By utilizing these modular components, I was able to create varied and detailed military settings, each tailored to specific combat scenarios. This workflow not only streamlined the production process but also ensured that each map retained a cohesive and immersive aesthetic.
